Sacrament of Holy Communion and Confirmation

Confirmation Classes - It is the long-standing practice of the Church that candidates attend classes before being presented for Confirmation. The aim of these is to give participants the opportunity to learn more about the Christian faith, to explore what it means to be a Christian, and to prepare for Confirmation. We have about 15 teenagers aged up to 18 who are considering this step this year. Attending confirmation classes does not commit anyone to going forward for confirmation. That is a decision for each individual nearer the time and no one is expected to be confirmed until they feel ready. So even if you are undecided, but would like to learn more, please do feel free to come along. First meeting is on the 8th March after 10.30am Mass.

First Communion

If anyone is interested in receiving their First Communion this year they should contact Jayne Fagan on Tel 01525-715477 or email her at   jayne.fagan@btinternet.com as soon as possible. First meeting is on the 14th March 2010 after 10.30am Mass to discuss arrangements.
